Anyone have this electrical problem? SHO starting and lose all power

Son tried to fire up the motor yesterday. It didnt fire up the first turn of the key so he hit it again. Lost all power from the battery. No trim, starter or anything. After a few minutes everything started working flawlessly again. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Possibly a loose or corroded battery connection.

Did you check the connections on the motor? Follow wires from the battery to the motor and check there. Sounds like a ground issue

I think I’ve found the issue thanks to the responses. Came home and inspected the battery connections closely and found the power cables to the motor had some light corrosion. Cleaned them up and applied some electrical grease and hope that resolved it. Thanks again for all of the replies!
