    '97 TR21 set-up advice

Anyone have this rig with a 225 Pro XS? 10" set-back... Looking for a starting point for PTP, prop, pitch and what kind of numbers I should expect.

    Thanks, Mike

I would set it for 2.5", a long as you have at least 15 PSI water pressure at WOT.

    Not with a 225....I can't believe it's rated for just 245

That is exact one time speed I achieved when I had my 2000 225 Opti. 8” Detwiler and worked 26 Tempest by Croxton.

I hit 74 even with the 10" set-back and my partner's worked 26 Tempest loaded to fish with just me, 30 minutes later the lower unit went. Boat is down for a couple of weeks.

Forgot to say— With a 25P Out of the box Trophy 71 - 72 mph 5900 - 6000 rpm. But. My average 2 way pass is 45.735 mph. Hope you get the boat back in the water soon.
