2005 225HO Etec tilt piston assembly

Hi all,

I am rebuilding my tilt and trim on a 2005 225HO etec. Model E225DHLSOC, serial 05114022.

While not paying attention when removing the tilt piston assembly, I removed the four springs and plungers from the piston assembly. I noticed after the fact that two springs are longer and two are shorter. I also notice the piston has 2 bigger holes and two smaller holes. I don't know which springs go to which holes on the piston.

Could anyone here possibly tell me which springs go to which holes in the piston? I can try to post pictures if need be.

Probably search Crowley marine and see if there is a picture of the parts assembly

Thanks for help guys but, unfortunately none of those pictures show the piston assembly broken down enough to show which springs go where. Thank,

You'll need the accessory catalog to service the FasTrac trim unit. I'll see if I can scan the layout later today.

The small relief holes get the long springs and the large relief holes get the short springs.
