The Shore Acres Resort (http://www.theshoreacresresort.com/) in Russ' post above looks like a nice place, but it's a pretty good hike from Dardanelle.

Just to clarify; is the launch site the Dwight Mission access on 64 or the State Park ramp just across the lake to the Southeast?

It's the new one, west side of highway 64 bridge on the north. Didn't know it has a name.

Naw... You'll still be way better off using "someone's" local knowledge.

I found it, Gene. Looks like a great facility... Y'all have gotten high-tone since my days up there.

I’m assuming that there is place to charge boats at this quality inn??? Most I’ve stayed at didn’t, but this one may be near to the lake and have those accommodations.
How far down from the quality inn is it to the launch ramp? Is it the ramp near Russellville? Is there a ramp close to the quality inn to use beforehand?
Just wondering, cause to get their best price it says it’s non-refundable and they want full pay.

Spadra Park/Launch is <3 miles from the Motel (I don't know anything about the conditions there, though)..

The Illinois Bayou Park facility is ~20 minutes southeast along I-40 toward Russellville...

Did you tell them it's for Mid-west Rally(although on the paper work they sent me it said midwest valley)

Brian is right on the other stuff.

The launch at Spadra park didn’t look too bad, but very limited parking, so shouldn’t be too bad if we get there first, I just got on the quality inn site, Gene did you work out a better deal for us?

Yes $65.00, with taxes $73.78 and they took my reservation with a card to hold it. Spadra is up the river from Russellville, more backwater shallow stumpy stuff. Lots of good stuff in between. I find it easier to run to Spadra than launch there and run to Illinois Bayou.

Ok, I’ll take your word for that, guess that’s why there isn’t much parking there, this will definitely be different kind of fishing, doe it have grass in the flatter stumpy area, or is that further down?

There may be grass but there will be lilly pads and water willows, lots of different vegetation. Floating frogs hide in your tackle box they're so scared.

Never caught a smallmouth on the river but there might be some.
