    Rod Locker lighting.

I have a 2001 Sabre. The lighting in the rod locker is BULBS. I am trying to figure out exactly what type they are. Model? Type? I need to replace a few but they are not available from BassCat. Assuming they can easily be obtained form local parts store.. but I would like to know WHAT to ask for.. or order online. Thanks in advance.

Might be easier to just remove the bulb line and tie in some LED strips. They draw less power and will be brighter than your current bulbs, also inexpensive

if they are what I think they are, they are just plain ole parking light/marker light bulbs. 193 marker light bulbs.

    193 Marker bulbs.
I would replace them with Blue water or BCB LED strip lights. Easy to tap in and use the same wiring. You wont regret it.

I install a ton of Bluewaters customers....lifetime warranty and a board sponsor. Get a strip that runs the length of the entire compartment also I mount them on the underside of the lids.

If you are handy remove a little buld, remove the glass and insides so you can solder a positive and negative lead wire to connect to any 12V LED strip. That way the security system will still have the current draw it needs from the rest of the regular light bulbs to work and you have ability to insert what ever lighting LED strip you want. I get a yard of bright leds waterproof and adhesive backed for under three bucks from the manufacturer in China.
Note... red or blue lights do not totally destroy your night vision

The bulbs are a common incandescent found at automotive parts stores.
