Install Active Imaging 3-N-1 Transducer RT188

Has anyone installed an active imaging transducer,or similar, to an rt188 with the Merc OB mounted directly to the transom? My concern is interference with the Side Scan and the outboard’s lower end (pro xs 115). My intent is to position the AI transducer where the current factory mounted transducer is located. I’m assuming that I should be able to trim the motor enough to get it out of the way if necessary. Any insight or advise would be greatly appreciated.
