How much longer to wait on my new motor?

Ordered and paid for my 250 four stroke in the middle of May. Still not here. Anybody recently gotten theirs and how long did it take? I am hoping I get it by next Spring!!!

Ordered mine May 7, got it about 3 weeks ago. Just be patient, seems like dealers are finally starting to get loose pro xs motors. Crazy it is taking this long but it is what it is....

Just think how bad the boat manufacturers are sucking wind--making boats with no engines available. Dealers are switching to Suzuki Outboards because they're available.

After 2 hurricanes in the Gulf and Caribbean destroying so many boats, in comes another hurricane hitting Panama City this year. So many boats are having to be replaced--screwing up supply and demand.

Ordered mine on April 20th, it was delivered on November 16th (30 weeks). It's being installed this week. 175XL Pro XS.

Now the long wait until next Spring to get it broke in.

I stopped by my dealer to check out a friends boat getting a repower to the 200 Pro XS that he waited 5 months for. I was told that thy had ordered 2 and that one was available, so my wait was 4 days. Even a 5 month wait is worth it in my opinion the motor is awesome !

Even Nitro is having trouble getting all the motors they need on time. This is from the Quality Control manager at the nitro plant. I snapped a pic of the boat lot and about 1/2 the boats had motors on them and the other half didn't...

I was also informed that the Mercury plant in Wisconsin is having a lot of problems, both in getting certain parts from suppliers and they also have problems keeping a fully staffed workforce at that facility.

Haven't heard that one- other than them increasing the number of shifts (and units) on the main assembly line.
