Occoquan River

If you want to go whitewater rafting, go into the town of Occoquan and launch. To say it is coming out from the dam is an understatement. Noticed gate at park was not open at 7:45. Gonna be a long winter if I have to fish Spoils & Blue or Anna all winter, live less than 10 minutes from Occoquan ramp.

I fished this sunday. With only a trolling motor, the flow was crazy and unexpected. We caught three and the afternoon turned out beautiful.
