    Mark Perry...

Hey buddy what’s your impression of the XX Whipsnake? I’m looking to get a dedicated Ned Rig rod. Thanks

Other than a few casts I have not used it much. Some guys use it for Ned rig though and seem to like it. I am gonna spend more time with all the spinning rods in Xx, new Levante a nbn d Destroyers this winter for more perspective. I dont throw many spinning setups so I need to better educate myself. I will ask the designer his impressions for that use.

I use the F3611 Orochi drop shot rod as a dedicated Ned rig rod and find it a great choice. I bought it to use as a second drop shot rod, but put a Ned on it and it never came off.

Thanks fellas! I think that’ll be my next MB rod followed by a top water rod for poppers.
