I have a 21XD with 250xs and 1:62 gears. I am running a 26 Pro max 3/4 below the pad. Yesterday was just the 3rd time out with this prop. Until yesterday it did pretty good out of the hole. I was fishing a tourney and I guess the extra weight of the live well made a difference. It spun out pretty bad before breaking over and I had to Ease it off a little then go again. I am running 3 of the 4 holes open. Should I just plug another hole?

What lower unit?
No on the cavitation ring. Torque master lower unit.

Just try plugging another hole. When I tried the cavitation ring, it blocked way too much exhaust.
I have not had good luck with rings, play with the plug setup and report back.
