I haven't been there in some time, however, typically the area around 150 and Stumpy Creek stays pretty clear no matter how much water is coming down. Last year during the floods that creek was really clear and north up around the state park was tomato soup color.
Last week the water mid lake and up was stained fairly heavy for Norman. Some of the main lake pockets were trapping a lot of the heavier stain. One person I spoke to at the ramp said he noticed some large trees and logs coming down the river. Some under the surface. The bite for me was slow; saw a lot of bait fish being chased in the creeks around 20-25 foot on the electronics.
mid lake around davidson creek was good! found fish in 2ft of dirty water after the sun got up, backs of creeks with bait nearby. bass bite died off later in the day, found a huge school of hybrids,...mmmm dinner!
All dam, them hybrids are yummy....
