Well the bite was dead on schedule before the last influx of water. Didn't even consider it after that. That's why I went to Gaston last week

I haven't been there in some time, however, typically the area around 150 and Stumpy Creek stays pretty clear no matter how much water is coming down. Last year during the floods that creek was really clear and north up around the state park was tomato soup color.

That is typically the case, although back in October the whole lake got muddy from hagers Creek up. I love it when you It gets like that.

Last week the water mid lake and up was stained fairly heavy for Norman. Some of the main lake pockets were trapping a lot of the heavier stain. One person I spoke to at the ramp said he noticed some large trees and logs coming down the river. Some under the surface. The bite for me was slow; saw a lot of bait fish being chased in the creeks around 20-25 foot on the electronics.

, there huge school of hybrid in mt creek a month ago. So many I could them splashing the water way across lake at the 150 bridge as soon as I got back on plane from going under the rr Trussell looked like 4 acres of them that day. give it 3 years and the lake will be a hot line side lake again.
