    One time I had to repaint a skeg on my outboard, and after multiple attempts, I finally learned how. I would do the blades the same way. Sand, and then clean with acetone. Then, use an etching primer to promote adhesion. Then, just use a rattle can of spray paint. Follow the manufacturer's recommendations for primer and paint.
