2003 hydraulic steering.

I need some help with buying a hydraulic steering system for my XB-2003. What length hose's do I need to get. Has anyone routed the hoses coming out of the rigging openings at the fuel fill cap. I'd like to come straight out of the openings turn 90 deg going to the opposite side fitting on the steering cylinder, to keep all the hoses and cables within the motor width for a neet look. Any insight will be appreciated.

Brian, Do yourself a favor and buy the Allison kit straight from Allison. It has all the correct parts for your boat.
Yes bring the hoses straight out of the back where the fuel fill is.
