Not really concerned with it as I don't have a desire to run any faster than that. Going to start working on a loaded setup now.
One thing to add in there is the fact that your running 2 pitch more and about 10 mph faster. The steeper pitch is probably climbing in the water more than our 30 and the extra lift you are getting due to the speed difference.

The 14.5" diameter isnt helping either.

That's great running Tim!!! Over 100 with a 300 on a 21 empty or full load is still remarkable no matter what!!

Woody what year hull is yours to be running 11.5" setback?

Just wondered if your hull had the new lip or not for that amount of setback. I think 2016 was the new lip in the mold. And you are running how high above pad and what water pressure? I'm not doubting I'm really curious

Woody has 10.5" setback. He has 2 - 2.5" spacers plus the 5.5" cmc plate.

Tim’s right. I’m running 10.5 setback. I’m running 1.5-1.75 above. Pressure and stability decreases at 2 above.

You have the new lip? And you have good Pressure at 1.75?? I drop to 10 just before I reach 1" above. I had Darris mod my lip 2 years ago at the rally so it's supposed to be the same or at least close to the new lip and I can't keep water pressure like most of you running 10' + set back. I don't get it

I ran mine this morning. Had engine at 1.5 above and had 35 psi water pressure at 89.9 mph 6180 rpm with 30 promax. Was going going to come on up to 1.75 but I’m already at the limiter with the 30. That was with full tank, full fish load and livewell full of water with 5 fish at 1.5 lb. each. One may have went 2lb. Im running wedges so you can add about .500 to setback. Right at 11 on the ruler.

Yep. Exactly. Confirmed by my water pressure gauge and Smartcraft. It didn’t make me laugh though. It only confirmed I had plenty of water pressure.

That's some good running Woody. I forgot you had a 250R now. May be why you can jack the motor up like that and get that kind of pressure.

The new engines have an entirely different lower unit Craig, they are capable of running a lot higher while sustaining good water pressure.

When River Rocket comes out with a "Almost 100" club decal me, Powell, Johnny Johnson, and Woody need one. We can't even get an honorable mention out of that cold blooded dude from the iced in neverlands. LOL
