HDS 12 on RT178 console

Anyone have a 12 inch HDS installed on RT178 console they can share a picture of? I’m thinking about upgrading from my current HDS 7 gen3 but not sure if it will fit vey well. Happy Thanksgiving!

I'd imagine you are going to have to use a precision sonar mount to make a 12 fit there. They even have a steering wheel spacer if your knuckles are going to hit it. I left my in dash for GPS navigation and mounted the 12 on the side on my last boat. If you go that way I'd use the Balzout mount.

You should also check out the dash mount from DekIt mounts. I have a friend who had one on his RT178 with a large Humminbird unit and it was solid. I have one on me Triton and it has worked great with an HDS9.
