    just paid 1500.00 to fix side by side new belt and clutch low oil wet clutch stupit didn't check oil

    that's what they said it is a cub cadet 700 got it back it still was not running right took it bach they said one of the power blocks was bad will pick it up today will post how it is

    I have no idea what a power block is. In looking online at the parts, a complete clutch is about $541. Separate parts are available that are in it. The belt is a whopping $337.

    With parts so expensive, I'd fix that puppy and put it up for sale. Their parts costs are simply unreasonable. I'm not above paying for a mechanic's time and skill, but the $1,500 sounds a little high for me.
