Rapid jack

I have a jack plate by rapid jack on my bullet. Went to raise my motor just now and the nut you turn to lower or raise your motor just spins freely? Anyone had this happen before?

Check the cables that are on the inside of the jack plate. Sounds like one end has come lose or it
has broken. Do not loosen the side bolts until you find and fix the problem.This has the ability to
be dangerous to you and the boat. If that's not the problem, check to see if the star wheel is turning
when you turn the nut. IF yes, go back and recheck the cable. If no, check the nut to see if it is stripped out
or does it have a set pin/screw and it is there.

Sounds like the roll pin that's in the big nut has broke. If not check the pins that hold the cable.
