I’d like to go to 15’s, then I could run LT tires instead of the junk ST that they sell now.
Went to 15 inch tires and wheels on my 200 elite single axle trailer 4 years ago . The stock 14 inchers would not support the boat properly. Check out wheel king in California.
My 181 has 15in on it since i bought it

Never seen a single axle Champ trailer with 14". 14 on tandem and 15 on single.
Thanks, Reggie. I was pretty sure that's what they did.

Maybe they made a change at some point around 1990. My 90 176 (TI trailer) had 15s, 93 201 (TI trailer) had 14s & my 07 210 (MFI) has 14s
My 05 198 dual axle, also has 14". My 1999 187 single had 15". Not sure what 1990 176 had.

I love the smell of coffee and 2 stroke exhaust at sunrise.......
Need to be load rated no matter what size on a boat trailer.
'85 176 on the TI.trIler it came on-14" single axle.
When I bought my Champ in 1990 the single axel trailer came with BF Goodrich CLM ST, F78-14st load range C 1710 lbs cold at 50psi.. just checked for sure, the originals are on the wood splitter in the barn. I am running Maxis M8008 205/75 14 load range D now on it with a 2040 lb cold weight capacity
My 2000 190 SX has 14's on a single axle TI trailer. Stock Champion rims as well.
My 2009 183 w/single axle has 14's. Came with LR-C but I upgraded last spring to LR-D Goodyear Endurance's.
