    Thank you all for the responses. Can anyone give me a part or model number for the guages that would be best for an optimax? Seriously considering tackling the job myself. I always am excited to learn new things.

    881834A1 is the "correct" gauge set for checking pressures. According to Mercury, you would also need a high-speed USB pressure transducer and Computer Program to precisely set the pressures. I have their tool for this... and will say to "pass" on that one.
