Mag Sync Transmitter Fob Not Working

Noticed today that one of my wireless remotes was not working, the other is working fine. I followed the instructions on the receiver for pairing the transmitter(hold until light comes on , press up three times) still no success. I swapped the batteries around on the remotes and verified that batteries are working. Do i have a bad transmitter fob or am i missing something?
