    Clear Lake - what's the latest?

    Looks like we're headed to Clear Lake this weekend, how's the bite been?

    Sadly this is the first time I've been able to head that way this year..

    Took 30 lbs to win ABA last saturday. Its all about finding a active school .Not everyone is catching them . It can be a tough day out there and some are blanking. Bait everywhere. Water temps dropping around 50 in the am.
    Crappie bite is pretty good and the lake is full of bluegill.

    Also be careful out there lake is 7' down from full

    Noted! Appreciate the update. We're still scheduled to hit it, hope we can find those schools.

    Last time the algae bloom was really bad, i take it that's all cleared up by now?

    Water is in great shape. Alage didnt get bad this summer but it did turn a tanic brown for awhile
