New Precision Sonar Console Mount for 2019 Ranger Aluminum models

New Precision Sonar Console Mount for the 2019 Ranger Aluminum models is just what the doctor ordered ...

Gerald F. from Alabama and Don W. from Indiana sent these pix to us showing their recent install of our new console mount for the 2019 Ranger RT & P models.

The Precision mounting system features both a front and backer plate as well as our patented SmartBrackets, making a virtually indestructible mounting system that fits like a glove.

Check out the pix of the HELIX units on the console. Note the after market steering wheel which is part of our Precision Sonar Steering Wheel Conversion Kit which adds a very nice upgrade to the console.

This is a quality mount system and rock solid when it installed. Nothing complicated and a straight forward installation. The top pictures are of my Helix 12

Do you think the mount would work ok without the extension on the steering wheel column ?

I do not think that you would like it without the steering wheel kit. The steering wheel would be so close to your unit that you may have to steer from the side of the wheel. Another reason that I like the kit is that it allows me to sit more upright in the drivers seat. In the RT188 the drivers seat sets way back from the console. An adjustable seat would have been a really nice option.

Your right about the leaning forward when driving the boat because I find myself sitting on the front part of the seat quite often. Thanks for the reply I thought it might be tight but now I know. The mount turned out nice on your boat and looks good.
