Won't get much better than that. I love my Shield 9. I also have a Shield 45. Paid $345 for the 9mm about 2 years ago and $295 for the 45 on sale about a year ago.

That is about as cheap as I have seen them around here also. I bought several of them last year when they were running a rebate also and had $255 each in them out-the-door.
The Academy flyer has the 9mm and .40 2.0 Shield with an integrated red laser for $299. And on top of that, you get a $50 Academy gift card with the purchase. Crazy cheap.

And Academy was packed at the gun counter at 5am on BF, too. It was the first store we hit, for a good price on some Hornady ammo. There was a long line outside (which we did not join) and it sure seemed like most of them were lined up at the gun counter by 5:01.

Got an email from my local gun shop for $269.99 + tax and 2 extra mags for free, limited to 100 guns and call to reserve.
The prices being posted here are sweet, definitely a great time to buy!

They just had the shield .40 on sale w/ night sights for $229. I almost bit on that since I already own a .40 and have ammo.

Takeum -- You got a performance shield they cost more than the regular ones.
Thinking of trading in my shield 9mm 2.0 & buying the Sig Sauer P365.
