That would be correct. To give more info than you probably want, MinnKota realized the first gen of GPS wasn't as accurate as it should be. They hired a retired Navy (don't know the rank) but his job was with the GPS systems on a sub. He redesigned the spotlock/GPS system based on his knowledge and came up with a more reliable and accurate GPS unit. Again, as been mentioned before, this is only as good as the number of satellites it is able to lock onto. The more satellites, the more the accuracy.
