    Live scope problem

    I took a buddy out to show him how ausom live scope works. I installed it last Sunday so this was second trip out and after 4 hrs we started seeing alarm saying Panoptix transducer disconnected and screen freezes up . Any idea??

    First, take a look at the LiveScope box and the diagnostic light to be sure it's getting power. If box is powered and light is flashing red, this means there is no recognized connection between box and chartplotter. Then, check your network/ethernet cable connections from box to the unit.

    I got in touch with Garmin’s tech support, they sent a update to my computer. I downloaded and all is good so far. Biggest problem was it came in a zip file. Heck I’m 65 and lucky to know how to get on bbc. Let alone know what a zip file is. Tech support is fast and easy.
