    T-1 Sho Prop- Cracking

I have a 25 and a 26 T1 that are both cracked around the hub. Has anyone else had this issue and how did Yamaha handle it? Thanks

They handled it by making the t-2 prop. It's got a stronger hub design

Was anyone able to get them replaced via warranty?

Yea I did but took a lot of calls to make it happen. Then you will have to wait months for the replacement. Just glad they took care of it.

My buddy just had that same issue. His prop showed a line acrossbone of the ears and Yamaha handled it by providing him a T-2. His motor is under warranty.

I had one sling a blade and they replaced the bent prop and provided a T-2. That was under warranty as well. Kudos to Yamaha for owning the issue, warranty or not. I am certain there are motor companies out there that wouldn’t not have claimed this as a warrantable defect.
