Thanks. I should mention motor has not been run for quite some time. Check was done on cold engine due to not attempting to crank on old fuel, fuel pump, filter , no-ethanol resistant lines and water pump more than likely hard as a rock. Results were 92/90/90/92/90/90. I believe once I do maintenance these will go up. What’s your thoughts?

I would be very careful given that information. You really should look at the deal as if it did not have an engine...

    Be glad to.

-Compression you provided is significantly lower than specifications, test methods not as specified.

-Reasons for cold engine extend to potentially extensive fuel system problems from sitting, and some reconditioning before recommissioning engine.

-Costs of just the above items (even if the engine turns out to be viable) reduce the value of the engine by a very significant portion of it's value as a perfectly good running engine.

    Hope this helps...

Gotcha. I plan to rebuild carbs, replace fuel lines/bulb, fuel filter, rebuild fuel pump, check thermostats, water pump kit, lower unit service n clean/flush fuel tank. Oil injection is removed so nothing to do there. Anything else I should do?

Check to see if it still has an idle stabilizer- if so, probably should consider removing that.

Be sure to perform a complete Sync-n-Link when done.
