    I never worry about the temp. If someone feels cold, bump up the heat. Someone is warm turn down the AC. I keep my shop at 50° 24/7 in the winter (900 sq. ft) House has a total of 2400 sq.ft Heat ( Nat. Gas) probably $80-$90 a month. AC $100 a month for 4-5 months.

    Now water can be expensive, depending how many times a week the sprinklers run

    Insulation is a big factor. 36 inches of attic insulation, outside wall shealthing is flint rock with concrete Hardy Plank siding, all windows are Anderson Casement windows, and Anderson doors and storm doors.

    Congratulations. You won the most efficient HVAC system of the millenium award, and it's not even close. I expected to see the North pole as your place of residence in your profile. If your system keeps the 2nd story of a 4k sqft house 59 degrees at night and 65 during the day for 200$ in GA....That's record setting efficiency. My 2 system couldn't do that with a 2,700 sqft house in SC requardless of cost.

    I keep mine on 76 daytime and 72 at night in summer. 65 daytime and 70 night in the winter. My bill is between 325-450 in the summer and @200 with @50 gas bill in the winter.

    Winter Heat 66 day if we are home, 64 if we aren't. Night 64 but my wife always gets up and turns it back to 66. I'd have it at 60 at night if I could help it.
    Summer A/C stays around 72.

    Summer when I’m home; 72 day, 68 night. Winter; hopefully it stays off but I’ll set the heater at 66 and let it get to 73 in the day if I’m home. Wifey hates being cold but I’m always hot! Loving life the last couple days with the weather here!!

    If any of you are having a home build do yourself a favor and look into envelope insulation. Our home was built with it and its freaking awesome!

    In Georgia I can leave my heat off in the winter and I don't think it would get down to 58 in the house . but I leave thermostat on 71 most all year , I would like it a little cooler but I'm married .

    Heat = 72 day, 68 night
    Cool = 78 day, 74 night

    Trane XL20i it does a good job of managing it.
    All electric, four bedrooms, most bills under $100.
    Can't remember getting a bill over $125.

    Heat to 70, cool to 72. Set and forget. We have a forced air geothermal system and its most efficient when maintaining temp rather than chasing temp up (or down) day vs night. Our bills are still cheaper than with our old gas furnace (no A/C previously) set at 68. 70 is nice in the winter, but 72 is sometimes too cool in the summer. Geo does extremely well pulling out humidity, so its sometimes too much when coming in from outside being sweaty and hitting that cool, dry air. But it's great for sleeping!

    Summer-daytime 71, night-68. I bump it up to 74 during the day when we leave for work.
    Winter- no heat during the day unless it’s really cold which doesn’t happen often. If we do need heat during the day it’s usually at 68 day and night.

    you live in a normal house, like me apparently. I can't imagine getting the efficiency Bradley does. I'm happy for him, wish I could.

    makes me wonder if bradley ain't on a budget plan....huge bill for 6 months...tiny bill for 6 months...averages out to a 200 bill each month

    New house with good insulation and new efficient equipment will make a difference.

    My house is 58 yrs old (crappy insulation) and my heat & A/C unit is 25+ yrs old........but my bills are 131 for electric and 52 for gas each month.
