    Question 19 TRX

Potentially making a move to an 18 Triton 19TRX, 200 pro XS two stroke. I'm adding my 12' talons to it. Does anyone know what to expect speed wise? Also this would be my first Triton, what has the experience been with the TRX series and the 19 foot TRX's? Thanks in advance

Just got a 2019 19TRX Patriot w/225 4 stroke a couple of months ago. Really haven't kept my foot in it for a long time yet but I'm seeing speeds around 70-72.

That's rollin Riverside, do you have poles or talons on it? I would like to be at least in the 63-64 range but don't know what to expect

I got a full season on my 19 TRX/225 opti pro xs and I’m typically around 70mph, best I’ve seen was 73. In the heat of the summer full load 67-68. I don’t have it dialed in yet. I’ll say it fishes really well with the 95 inch beam and rides really well in rough water. Holeshot is super quick even fully loaded. Overall been really impressed with the boat

Those numbers sound good, so I should be low to mid 60's with the 200 and my talons I am thinking. This rig is just a bit shorter than my skeeter but an inch wider so I am hoping for as good if not better of a ride in the trx

I would say if your looking for mid 60s then you should be alright. But if your looking for more then you probably wouldn’t want the 200.

I have a 19se with a 200 ProXs but is the same hull as the Trx. 2 power poles and tournament load with a partner and wells we run around 61-62. By myself nothing in live wells, half tank of gas around 65mph.

I have a 2018 19trx Patriot with a 2 stroke 225proxs, 2 blades, 112 ultrex, (4) group 31 batteries. I get 68mph with myself and my partner ( 215lbs each) in the summer. I am still trying to get it dialed in. I would like to break 70mph. I know some guys have done that, but overall it is a great ride. Very solid on rough water and you don’t have to drive it like my old 2004 Tr-196 I had for 14 years. I looked at several different brands and in my opinion, Triton has the best layout in terms of storage and fishability. The amount of storage and the depth of the storage is like no other. Not to mention, you can’t beat the Triton Gold money if you are a tourney angler! It blows my mind how Ranger is the most expensive bass boat, yet they have the lowest contingency money $500?

Thanks everyone for the input! I feel if I get this rig I wont be disappointed. I believe my SHO spun a bearing, still waiting on the news. Are these boats tough to drive?

Simple to drive, I'd get an ultrex and go with a the shorter version of talons and save a lot of weight.

My 19SE tops out at 68-69 with a 25P 3 blade Fury. If I empty the boat and run solo She'll start to get a little squirrelly on me but nothing like the old TR's

If you can afford it I’d get the 225, I don’t know if I’d like this boat with a 200 just because of how big it is. I came out of a 20x and feel the 19 Trx is a bigger boat. I’d also say the ultrex is a must have. Truly is a game changer

You will probably run in the low 60's with those two Talons hanging off the back. Both the 18TRX and 19TRX are great boats.

I don't think I can swing a 225 this go around, baby on the way lol. I was able to get my trade number up because the dealer can get a reman power head. My oil filter had metal in it, ewwwww. I will know more about financing tomorrow but I think I'm going to pull the trigger, if I do I will try to post pics. Thank you everyone for their input! This rig is a 19 but is almost as long as my bug and an inch wider, looking forward to the test drive!

Most people hear/see 19 TRX and think its a 19 footer but the 19 line is 19'9" and like you said, is as wide as any other brands 20'+ boat. There's no lacking deck space or handling in it. It feels much more like a "20 footer" than a 19.

You will love the 19TRX, it is one of my favorite Tritons.
