    Factory direct

Is it possible to buy a boat straight from the factory? When I purchase one, I'm going to buy it straight out, so I figured it might save some money if its possible??

I am sure their dealer network would love it if they sold boats direct to customers.

That's why I'm asking, 99% of people finance boats and that's where dealer would play a bigger role.

A boat is a big investment and you are also investing in service support down the line.
Dealerships play much more of a roll than just financing such as parts, service, warranty work, advice and solutions etc. They also invest a lot in boats for stock (showroom), parts to reduce the time you boat is in the shop and product training for the service technicians. If a manufacturer were to sell directly to the customer I highly doubt that any dealer would want to support their product.

Even the pros go through a dealer, but you should be able to negotiate a good deal paying all cash.

I’m pretty sure when Phoenix was new they sold direct but I’m willing to bet they haven’t sold direct since like 2012

To answer the question . No the factory will not sell you a boat direct. As for Phoenix when they first started no they would not sell direct to an individual. You had to go thru one of their dealers.

I tried this in 2017, and they wouldn't allow it. Ended up going through McCallister Marine in MO, smallest mark up I found from Texas to the factory.

Smallest mark-up, yet the best service out there- Howard is gold.

Call john webb at marine works. He basically orders the boat for you and keeps the markup down. Alot of guys travel to buy from him for the best price if they dont have a dealer close or their dealer has crazy prices
