    Rigging Coupler Missing

    2006 250 XS
    Serial #1E000996

New to me. I noticed when we hooked it up, that the coupler on the cowling was missing in box of parts. Seller couldn’t find it at his house so he ordered and shipped me a new one.
According to pictures and part breakdown online, he ordered right part. #843185T02

But I just doesn’t look right when I opened box. I don’t have access to boat and motor right now but the part is round and the opening is square. See pictures below of part I ordered and square hole in bottom cowl. Don’t pay attention to the partial 2-piece coupler in picture.

Where am I messing up or just not seeing?

I know it looks odd but I think it is the correct one, line up the top edges and rotate downward to install on the lower cowl
    Thank You Leon Pugh

The engine came with a larger-type flange and rigging tube. Quite likely that your boat has the smaller 2" coupling.
