    toledo bend camp purchase

Gonna buy father-in-laws camp on Toledo Bend (LA side)...he owns outright and I'm paying cash...no real estate agents involved....just me and him...what is the required paperwork for the transaction? Clerk of courts visit? Deed (title) transfer? Property taxes? Notary Public (as is sale)....Trailer is 20 years old so i'm sure home insurance won't cover it if a tree falls on it or tornado hits it...should I just get liability insurance and skip insurance on trailer? Anything else involved? It is an interior lot near Big Bass Marina. Thanks

Hire a real estate attorney, cash deal and no liens should only cost 350-500 bucks. Attorney will do all the filings and keep it clean for both of you.
