Interesting and impressive. Of course, you still have to find the fish first.
And he didn’t even show everything it will do,seeing it in person on the water is the only way to get the full effect. It will show you every side of the brush piles and top water which is going to be really useful all in right now not 3-4-5 seconds later.
What's the clearest graph for live scope?
As far as graphs I have been researching it a lot. I have decided to go with the 1242xsv, 12” screen, 1280 x 800, and comes with the GT52TM transducer for side image, down image, and 2D, also has the LakeVu HD mapping installed.
im going to run it with a Helix 12 stacked at the bow with 360 imaging. It will give me the option to have full screen livescope with map and 2D on the helix, or full screen 360 with map and 2D/down image on the Garmin. Third option is 360 and livescope at same time since they don’t interfere.
the 1042xsv also looks good, 10” screen a little less resolution, but the rest is the same.
ok, now I am debating between this and the humminbird .............. or which one do I put on the bow and what at the helm........and stay married at the same time
Everything I have read is the 93sv+ is a good unit, the resolution is less that the 10” and 12” options but still not bad, I think it’s 800 x 400. For the money the 93sv+ is a great deal and can be found for around $600, so looking at $2100 with the livescope, plus the clearVu, sideVu, and 2D sonar. That is a lot of capability for the money.
Going to the 1042xsv is a big jump in price for 1” bigger screen and marginal resolution increase, the 1242xsv is a few hundred above the 1042xsv but you get 3” bigger screen a large jump in resolution. The 1242xsv looks like the best bang for your dollars if you go for the bigger screen.
some one needs to hook this up to an 8624 GPSMAP.
Where are you finding the 93sv+ for $600?????
