Some people are truly sick in the head. I hope they go to jail and have to repay the money when they get out.

Oops!! Good for the investigators, now let the judge talk to them.
If this is the case, give them a few years to read, they earned it.

No shame anymore. I've seen local semi-friend people ask for stuff that they can afford. I guess its easier to spend other peoples money.

Without starting a huge debate, the story sounds familiar to other big charities doesnt it?

Ok, I'll bite. What is the alternative to charities? I can't afford to travel to every natural disaster and help out, can you? My wife works for a homeless shelter, and believe me she isn't raking it in. You need to remember every charity needs employees, nobody is going to work for free. Can there be improvements, of course there can be. If you want call out a specific charity, then do so, but please don't lump all charities together. I've never needed help from a charity, but if disaster ever strikes I'll be happy there is some help available.

That's why I have decided to keep my donations local, I have a better understanding of how my money is being spent and where most of it is being applied. The ARC's are mostly managed by a board of volunteers, employees make a modest income. As far as those charities which choose to pay what I consider outrageous salaries, I have chosen to not support them.

I don't know, I liked her better as a blonde. Maybe we can raise enough money for her to go back to the hairdresser.
