    Caracal

Well i did it I ordered a new Caracal. It was between that and a Eyra and man I’ve always wanted a Eyra and the only reason I ended up with the Caracal was the wide deck. I had an accident about a year ago and it’s affected my balance and just always had problems with my balance in the p2. I sure hope I made the rite decision and it don’t come back to haunt me. Tell me I’m OK.

Sure you are ok. It will definitely offer more room up front. You know you made the right decision. Now get ready to go enjoy it. Congrats!!!

You will love your new Caracal. I went from a CougarFTD to the Caracal, just due to the wider deck. My balance isn't the greatest either. Its the best Cat for me by far.

You decision is perfect. If you struggled with balance in the PII, the Caracal was the way to go. Deck width up front is near the same between the Eyra and PII.
Enjoy your new Caracal. Put up pics when you receive it.

I too went from PII to Caracal. No regrets.
I too have trouble with balance, the wider deck was a need for me.
I fish team tournaments only and the deck allows plenty of room for 2 old men.

Pretty much! If you lose your balance on the front of that rig, you'll fall onto more boat...You would have to side step and jump off that joker to hit water. Very stable. More stowage than you'll need. What engine did you order? Congrats!

That rig will be great for you. I 2nd what several others said in that, if balance was (one of) your issue, an Eyra would not have made much difference. Congratulations.

I live out in the boonies and backroads and have a driveway 1/4 mile long. I’m not so sure my drive way is wide enough. Oh well. Think the caracal must be about 6 inches wider than my p2.

The deck is one of the main reasons I got the Caracal...It’s huge! Plus the whole boat fishes bigger than a 19 footer and everyone always mistakes it for 20+ footer...Love mine...
