    Question for Jones Trolling Motor

I have an 80 lb Fortrex that has a slightly bent shaft right at the "collar". How much would it cost to fix the shaft? It sqeaks and is fairly hard to turn.

You'll have apx $40.00 worth of parts and if I do it, an hour labor. Total around $120.00 / apx

Run it on down to him, it's only an 8 hour drive. I drove 5½ hours each way to take my Ultrex there. They've got a couple of good BBQ joints there.
    Don't worry Ma'am....
    I'm only here for the
    Bass.

Are you talking Main shaft or upper shaft? Main shaft is composite material and will have a slight bend in it when it is stored on the mount. I have never seen a composite shaft with a bend in it. the upper shaft is made of metal and it will bend if you have a hard impact.

Bradrodfish, may be my bad but when he said bent at the "collar" I assumed he was talking about the upper shaft.
