    Under 10k Used Tow Vehicle

Anything out there that will tow over 5000 pounds for under 10K? I would like to buy something with mileage under 100k. Thanks

Look for an 06-10 F150 with the 5.4. That would make a good tow vehicle and there are so many out there you might get lucky.

Look into larger SUVs. Durango’s last a long time and can haul some serious weight, pretty reasonable too. Explorers would tow good too and are easy to find under 10k. However most everything in that price range will be over 100k miles. Trucks in that range would be older (08 and older) with 150k miles or so. SUVs would be around 2010 or older with less miles but still around 100k.

Bought a 2004 Ford Expedition that will tow over 5000# in 2013 for 4000 bucks. Took it to Firestone for new tires and transmission flush then drove over 3 hours to pickup boat in my signature. Still using it with 167000 miles.

Hmm, what about possibly buying an older beater instead? I tow less than 15 miles to the ramp.

Bought a 06 Titan 4 years ago for $10K. Had 54,000 miles. Been a great tow vehicle.

Look at 2001-2003 F-150's with a 5.4L. They are very reliable trucks and drive/ride very nicely. I don't know about near you but down here in Fl 01-02 Crew cab lariats in very good condition can be had for around 6K with under 150K miles.
