I want to get a new tv for the new house I bought. What is the best deal out there for Black Friday or cyber Monday? I am looking around a 60” tv.

I highly suggest looking at TCL on Amazon. They are extremely affordable and I've been pleased with the quality. It's not the best if you watch a lot of sports due to some slight blurring (only really seen it on NFL games on Fox Channel only) but for general tv watching, it's absolutely the best deal out there.

Cant beat a Samsung
Prices are going to be pretty similar everywhere. Figure out what features you want, and then compare several stores (Wal-mart, Best Buy, Costco, Amazon, Newegg, etc.). Bonus points if its available online so you don't have to go to the store. We picked up a 43" 1080p Vizio for the bedroom for $198 online at Wal-Mart during a pre-black friday deal with free 2 day shipping. Looking through the black friday ads we weren't going to do much better than that on price, especially on a 2018 model.

Most black friday deals there will be a very small quantity per store, so avoid those most won't be able to get one.
Here's most big store's black friday ads scanned in in one spot if you wanted to research:

I have been looking and rsearching too....gonna get the Samsung 55 inch at BJ's discount store......price is the same as every other place EXCEPT our store extends the one year warranty to 2 for FREE. If you have one, might be worth it.
BAM
I saw an ad for Sam’s Club, they’re having really good prices on large TVs!

If you are talking about top of the line LCD models (LED is the backlighting, FYI) there are things you should know.
Samsung: Best picture quality, not very good at motion clarity, minimal backlight bleeding.
Sony: Best motion clarity, not the best picture quality, generally more backlight bleeding.
LG: Kind of a balance between picture quality and motion clarity, hit or miss on backlight bleeding, exchange until you get a good one.
Everything else on the market is all mediocre to crap quality using the same panels and logic boards with a different name stamped on the outside. I'd say if you aren't looking at getting the top of the line model then get an LG. They seem to have the best bang for the buck as far as features and quality go.
I'm a Samsung fan. Really hard to go wrong on a 60" set with a decent name on it.
Here they are $399 or less. Doesn't jump up until you bite down on a larger size.
Another great place for televisions and all electronics is TigerDirect.com. They have a warehouse in Atlanta, and I can get most items in 1 day from there.
I'm not very smart, and have not figured out what all the Smart TVs are about. My old 60" plasma television (Dish TV) has a great picture, however I had to winch that heavy thing from the ceiling to mount it over my fireplace. At least the new televisions are light and easy to transport and lift.
I have a 60" SONY and love it.
On a side note, I wouldn't worry over the "SMART" aspect of it.
Buy yourself a 4k TV, don't worry about options. Add Apple TV.
And if you're an Android nut, just buy a Fire TV box. That's it.
I'm looking as well....I want a 65".....wife thinks I'm nuts but what else is new???
