Used to use a save face but mine always fogged up then the seal crumbled off. Was kindof disappointed since they dont give them away. Since them under armour infrared head sock and ski goggles. Seems to be the easiest.

Is it a stupid statement? I mean what IF you get tossed from a boat at 45mph and the first thing to hit the water is the back edge (or any edge) of the helmet?
I won't entertain the idea of a full face helmet or any kind of helmet just for this simple reason.

I got some clear motor cross goggle off Amazon that work well and weren’t much. Those plus a neoprene mask work well

I wear a baklava, pull up my hood on my rain suit, then put my SaveFace on over that. The rain suit hood helps keep the wind off the rest of your head and the saveface keeps the hood in place.

Can you find an instance where this has happened, please provide it.

I have had both the save face with baclava and the helmet and I can tell you the Helmet is much warmer and less fog up when running. JMO

For the guys wearing the helmet I've tried this a few times and I have problems with the lens fogging? Is there a certain type of lens I should be looking for?

I used to wear my snowmobile helmet. It has an electrically heated visor that can be plugged into the 12 volt accessory outlet in the console of my boat. No fogging at all with it. If you have a regular visor, just keep it open a bit to reduce (not eliminate) fogging

How do you keep a pastry on your head at 60+ mph :)

    He means balaclava ;)

I carry both the save phase and full face MC in the boat. Depending on conditions and the length of the run determines what I wear during the winter. 8-12 miles on the river is usually the MC helmet.

Use Rain-X no fog on both sides of the lens, never have had a problem.. Also helps if you slightly leave a vent open

Chances are pretty much zero for the back edge to be the first thing to hit the water. Then you would need magic for enough water to enter to jerk your head enough to break your neck. In that case, God was calling and nothing would have saved you.
