    Okeechobee Update

Headed down to Okeechobee the week after Thanksgiving for my annual trip with a customer. We will be casting and Shiner fishing and fishing out of Harney Pond canal/Indian Prairie. How is the fishing on that end of the lake right now?

Fishing has been really good around Dyess Ditch and up the north shore to Tin House. Harney pond looks really different since Irma went through last year if you havent seen it since then. Big fish are really starting to move in with these cold fronts popping off.

Lots of big fish in the monkey box again. Harney is getting shallow so be careful and set down outside the outer edge.

Been out here all week and finding it very hard to find fish. Been in the monkey box flipping every piece of cover I can find. Plenty of mudfish though!
