Seems to be an issue all around. This year Ohio implemented a law that if you hunt out of state you are not aloud to bring any deer across the across state lines unless the meat is completely removed from the bone.

Alabama and Tennessee did the same thing.. because of the first deer in Mississippi that tested positive last year...

Turns out there is a doe being tested right now for cwd as well as the buck that recently tested positive... That makes 3.... This is obviously just getting bigger and bigger.....

So here's a question for you guys that deal with this more often... Says it takes up to two years before signs start to show...don't want to eat these deer... So do you wait on test results or what before you eat?

From what I’ve read and seen in pictures you can usually tell when dressing a deer if it has cwd, but I had NO idea it was this far south. When I was hunting the U.P. of Michigan around 2003 it was a big deal up there but then I stopped hearing about it until recently.

Im shocked it has come down this far.
