Organic here as well, it keeps a long time. We don’t use much.

Whole unpasteurized milk to drink, cream for coffee and goat milk for the other stuff when we have it.

I love me some milk but it doesn’t like me. I keep a half gallon of almond milk in the fridge to get me by in a pinch

    So very true!

I go through about 1.5 to 2.5 gallons of 2%, vitamin D (whole milk). Nothing better than a couple of huge cold glasses of whole milk when your a bit hung over.

I use Lactate-free 1% milk in the white plastic jug. I only have it with cereal and no other time. I love the longevity of it's shelf life, too.

Unsweetened almond milk. I like to get my sugar intake from candy bars!!!

When I make creamed dried beef on toast, I use some of my GF's half-and-half with a little almond milk to get the consistency right.

Almond milk seems to last a long time in the fridge. Almond milk can also be purchased on the shelf not refrigerated in a rectangular carton and we keep a couple in the pantry. That way when the weather forecaster predicts the winter storm of the century, we only need to stop and get a Powerball ticket as we also keep a couple of loafs of bread in the big freezer in the garage!!!

Grew up on skim. Tastes like water now. When my oldest was transitioned to milk, we gave her whole milk (prescribed by dr.) we drank the whole milk when she did. Now we have backed down to 2% and I think it's the best of both worlds (taste and a little better for you than whole.)
That said, a bowl of cereal or glass of chocoalte milk made with cold whole milk is hard to beat!

I am diabetic also so I do the same. I love whole milk but I know that it is not good for me.

You most definitely won't be getting too close to my better half. Too much in common. Funny for sure.

He drinks milk like water - drinks it in protein shakes, drinks it with his pre-workout shake, and drinks multiple glasses at dinner. Has a debit account at school that we keep full or him to use for snacks. He's spending $18-$20 a month on chocolate milk and bottled water!

But...at 15, he's an athlete weighing in at 205 lbs and standing just under 6'5". Pretty hard to argue against the "need" for milk.

Surprises me how many of you don’t drink milk and prefer “almond substitute”... only vitamen D milk in this house...
