    GT30-TM

Anyone have any experience with one and if so what are your thoughts.
How does it compare to the higher priced GT 50’51 and 52s

    Thanks

    The GT-30 is a 500 watt transducer for ClearVü/SideVü
    ClearVü (1.4 @ 455 kHz) & (0.8 @ 800 kHz); SideVü (1.1 @ 455 kHz) & (0.7 @ 800 kHz)

    The GT-52 is a 350 watt transducer for ClearVü/SideVü
    ClearVü/SideVü (2.0 @ 455 kHz) & (1.0 @ 800 kHz)

I’m sure Leonard can provide some additional detail, but the GT-30 is a dedicated ClearVü/SideVü transducer.

I've used both the GT30 and GT52. Generally speaking, when comparing the ClearVu and SideVu between the two, the wider beam of the GT52 will result in better, easier to discern fish targets at the expense of some bottom and structural detail. Likewise, the narrower beam of the GT30 will provide a little more detail but fish targets will be smaller.
