    Lake Ouachita fishing question

    Making a trip this weekend to stay and fish the lake. Any pointers for targeting bass up there this time of year? Any help is greatly appreciated!

    Only been on the lake once, but that was last week. We ended up catching them pretty good. We just we to the north end of the lake and through a deep diving crankbait on rocky points.

    I have not fished it a long time,but if I were going I would go up creek and do what Pat said and even rattle trap. Good luck

    Going this Friday so will update. Looking for numbers, a drop shot or spoon on deep points should product a lot of spots. If the water is still high shallow with bait of choice should produce bigger fish. Of course A-Rig is good but be ready for a lot of snags in trees.
