    1/2 ounce Nickle is the workhorse of most any blade bait... I make and fish a ton of these. They work all year, But shine in the colder water. If you dont fish them, You are missing out on some of the best fishing of the year.

    I throw a gold silver buddy year round. It does work better when water temps are in the 40s!

    12' to 90' for me....excels in 25'-50' when the water is less than 55 degrees. Tough to beat a good blade bait bite.

    5'-30' for me. Depends where the fish are. Not many baits you can get a reaction bite in 5'-100' while still fishing slow in cold water. None other than a blade bait that I can recall.
