    Power step

I am looking at the amp-research power steps for my truck. They look good in the pics but haven't seen any in person. Anyone have them and if so how do you like them?

Would have loved a set on my new Ram but went cheap with a fixed set of steps. Never had a set but looked at a couple trucks with them and see no issues with them. Go to your local Dodge dealer the Kentucky Derby edition has them on from the factory I think. At least the two I saw did.

I've had them on three different trucks, they look good and work as advertised. I've wondered how they would do up north with the snow and ice but they're perfect down south.

Had a set a few years back and had no issues at all.

I have them on my 2006 ram and my 2017 ram. Have never had a problem with them. The ones on the 06 have probably been on for 8-10 years.

Have had chrome steps on prior Rams but got the power steps on the 2019. Very slick and much larger and wider than regular step bars. My wife wasn't sure about them until we checked out a Ram at a dealer that had them; she found them much easier to use and they're lower which works better.

They are great if you don’t go off road for obvious reasons.
