    Install ?

Getting ready to install 2 helix 10 units. Using 6 gauge wire from battery to terminal block at console and 10 gauge to units. Can i use existing ground wire or should i use a heavy gauge wire?

Since you don't list what size the existing ground wire is, then I would pull a new heavy gauge wire up to the console and terminal strip it. Amperage is going to pick on the smallest wire, whether it is positive or negative.

Yes, both conductors should be the same size or the smaller one will restrict current flow for the whole circuit. Bob

That is some BIG wire for electronics! I run my whole network on 14 and have no voltage issues.

Agreed. 10 should be adequate but both should be the same.
