    Adding a 3rd Battery to an 819

Debating moving to an Ultrex and deciding whether a 112 or another 80lb. Leaning towards 112. Maybe it's easy, just put it next to the two I have where the spare prop storage is, or maybe not. Anybody done this?

Depending how much you fish current, or very windy conditions... but I would stay with the 80lb.
A buddy has an 80lb Ultrex on an older 19+ ft Ranger and it does him well. His boat is back from when the 80lb was the highest pound thrust. He didn't want to add a 3rd battery so went with the 80 Ultrex, and it moves his boat just fine. He also fishes the river with current.
I'm sure that boat weighs more than yours. He was debating the same thoughts you are, and he's glad he decided on the 80lb.

When I got my 619 I put another battery just for electronics.....place the battery holder where you store the spare prop but ended up taking it out and going to a bigger battery......As for the troller, I went with the Ultrex 24v....my reason was I don't think I fish near as much as others and never ran batteries down on a 24v system....had it since February this year and haven't had any issues with a 24v.....
YOU are not entitled to what I have earned!!!!!

This is sort of me, have never drawn down the 24V. Don't fish tourneys anymore. Do fish a lot of deep rockpiles which can be tough to stay on with just the TM.

If you fish two day tournaments and cant charge between day I would go to 36V, if not, 24V would be more than enough for lakes and probably most rivers.
One of my friends has a 24V on an old 20ft Charger and it works on the Colorado River just fine.

I have a 819. I started with an fortrex 80 and then upgraded to the ultrex 112. I would never look back. All I did was place the 3rd battery next to the existing two with a new tray. If you fish rivers with current and electric only lakes I would definitely recommend it. The 112 on a electric only lake has made a huge difference for me. I can stay out longer and travel farther. Either way you will be happy with which ever ultrex you buy.

I have an 819 with the 36v Ultrex. Zero regrets.

Same here. 819 with 112 Ultrex. No regrets at all.
