i have similar issues . When I put my 80 lb ultrex on 10 I can only go one or two minutes when the breaker pops . I ran new 6 awg wire with a 60 amp breaker . I soldered all connections and have a new quick disconnect under the front pannel . I bought the breaker off of amazon and sometimes you don't exactly know what you are getting . There were many 60 amp breakers to chose from I bought a middle of the road one . I guess a miss labeled one or an over rated one could be the problem .

I think I might need to replace my 50 amp fuses on my 112 with a 60a breaker.....

Put this in and your good to go.
What I used last week when I installed my Ultrex.
Instructions are pretty clear....whoever installed yours didn't do it right or forgot breaker.

I don’t believe the minnkota one is switchable like they recommend for the Ultrex
