    27 Pro Max

I just picked up a 27 pro max from bamajc. I ran it once back in the summer and it ran 88 barely bumping the limiter occasionally. Since then, I've added the X2 cranking battery (replaced 27 blue top optima) and a 10" solix on a 2" BBT mount on the bow.

I bought the prop because I loved the mid-range on it so if it is a touch too small, no worries, it'll be my summer prop. But, with the extra weight and the unit sticking up in the air on the bow, it may not be too small.

Anyone else run a 27 pro max?

    I run a 250XS with 1:62s.

I have a 36V ultrex, group 27 lead acids up front center box, 12-15 rods, way too much tackle in the port rod box (full), center box & some in rear port compartment. Like I said previously, I ran it 88 in the summer so I'm hoping it will be about right now that I've added the bow solix.

If nothing falls through, I'm supposed to take my high school team to Eufaula this weekend so I'll play around with the 27 pro max a little Friday.

That is where I will put in at most likely. If you see a red XB 21 that will be me ..Hope to see you , would really like to see that recess you put in.. Heard they were in the grass. We shall see. I know I was there a couple weeks ago an it was tuff. They were really spread out . When you found them you could catch them but finding wasn't easy . Hopefully this cooler weather has pushed the shad shallow .

I'll look for you so I can stop and let you check it out. My son usually spots another Allison before I can tell it is a boat

I don't know much about the lake but if the area is getting the amount of rain we are here in our area, it will probably be a factor.

It has been tuff the last couple of weeks . We have gotten a lot of rain . Buddy of mine won a tourney this past weekend . He said it was real tuff . I was there about 2 weeks ago and caught a bunch of little ones over submerged hydrilla . I figured they would be in the grass but he said he only caught a couple . Most of his were caught deeper .

Sounds like we may be in for a tough weekend, but that's fishing. Thanks for the info, hopefully we can meet you on the water.

4 Flood gates open up here Joe. If you venture out to the main channel be careful. I'm sure there will be a lot of floating junk.

I ended up launching at white oak today - main lake is pretty nasty.

No luck. A few decent fish in practice Friday but only weighed 2 keepers today. Just couldn't figure them out.

The other teams caught them, I think 18+ won. But, we just could not figure them out, we were in the right places (thanks to some great friends) and could see the fish on our mega units but we just could not get them to bite. Eufuala has always had my number for some reason.
